SPT sports, Bangalore

We had an official offsite at SPT sports, on the outskirts of Bangalore Sarjapur Road. While I wasn't too keen to go, they had football(the real one) training for kids and a training for football coaches as well.

So we played football, which is not a game for people who are pushing 40(+-5) years because of the lack of flexibility of the body which is very much needed to play the game. We had a slushy field as well, which made it doubly difficult. I managed to stay up on my feet all the time with my running shoes on. But many folks skidded and fell, but luckily no one had any serious injuries. May be we should play football sometime at this age as well (with less contact off course)!

There was also golf - which the corporate folks seem to love where only the ball moves, you just swing the club. Not sure if I would be interested in this game ever in my life. But the game sure is really big these days.

Another popular thing seems to be the paint ball game where you have guns(they call it something else) with paint balls in it which bursts when you hit the opponents. This could be a good strategy team game.

I do want to checkout their Level 1 certificate in coaching football that they conduct yearly though I claim myself to be a knowledgeable about coaching:)
