I am changing jobs

After a year with Dell R&D, I am planning to do something different, joining a startup. I can't reveal much about the venture as yet, because we are in the very early stages to share something concrete, but it is going to be based out of Bangalore. I will share about our venture once things are concrete.

I sure don't want to go back to an MNC or a big company, but as HP CEO Mark Hurd says, I will never say never again. But as one matures in your career, it becomes really frustrating to sing along with the bureaucracy that the big companies inevitably end up with unless you want a job that brings a pay check every month. It is even more frustrating when you are at an off-shore location of the big conglomerate. Hopefully I should be better off in a startup, but you never know.
