Dell Freedom Road Run

Our office contributed Rs. 2 Million to Freedom Foundation, a charity organization as part of the Dell Freedom Run conducted this morning. It was limited to the employees and some special guests like the Tamil actress Shreya, who had acted with Tamil Superstar Rajnikanth. The run itself was a short one, 4K(3.6K according to Google Maps) around Kormangala-Indiranagar Inner ring road. It was more of a publicity event than a run, but they did stop traffic to ease the run and provided water. But no bibs, timing etc. that we are used to in an organized run. But it was for a good cause though I felt the collection was pretty minimal compared the money we are paid. But something is better than nothing. The effort was appreciated very much.

I need to have some way of keeping myself doing the charity thing along with my runs. I have been very inconsistent about the charity efforts.
