Sunfeast Bangalore 10K - in 1h20m28s

Though the official certificate is not yet out, my timer showed 1:20:28 for the 10K run. It was a good run under a warm sun(~23C). I used the Galloway's run-walk method( 2min run and 1min walk). I had a good last 2KM when I thought I might take 1:25+, I had a good finish in the end. Good show by any means considering I was hopping around 2 weeks back with a fall on the road during a run. So 70 minutes looks like a good target to shoot for the next 10K. I need to predict a half marathon(which is my next target) time with this time as well. Unfortunately, Galloway's charts don't even show anything beyond 10min/mile(mine will be around 13m/mile).

I made use of the descent BMTC bus services in the Bannerghatta-Majestic route. I couldn't catch hold of an autorikshaw in time, so jumped into a bus while going towards the stadium and situation was the same while coming back. So I strolled down a kilometer and jumped into an Airconditioned Volvo service towards Bannerghatta. Unfortunately I had to stand all the way which was a bit hurting for the knee. But in the end, I feel pretty good and relaxed except for that.

I am eagerly looking forward my official timing and the pictures of the run. Will share that as soon as it appears on the website.
