It was supposed to be an 8-9K run, but at 2K I got caught by a wire(twine?) and fell with scratches on the knee, elbow and the palm. Early morning paper boys were sorting their papers out and they had left that on the road, which I missed:( So I aborted the run and walked back and got into a public bus and got back. Went to Wockhardt and got it dressed - they sounded curious why this old man at 40 wants to run 10K instead of just briskly walking. I am not buying as of now!
I was watchful of the vehicles from any corner and dogs, but this twine wasn't expected, but I should be back next week, but some valuable practise gone. So learn from it and move on - and it could always be worse you know!
